Always surprises me how far the Red Army could go even when the logistical sinews were straining. For an example Bessanov's 'Tank Rider' reads like an incessant search for food as much as the enemy, but the attacks still constantly go in right up to Berlin.

T-34 the war was won by the efforts of all western allies, and if they were not fighting against the nazi's Soviet Union wouldn't won the war by his own efforts and not helped by the western countrys.
