Looking for ‘A survey of casualties amongst armoured Units in N.W. Europe’

    Hi, all,

    I’ve been through the existing forums and this SEEMS like the best place to post, but if anyone thinks otherwise, please feel free to redirect me. I’ve also done a search and have not found this, so….

    I’m interested to read ‘A survey of casualties amongst armoured Units in N.W. Europe’ by Capt H.B. Wright RAMC and Capt R.D. Harkness RAMC, 1946. It’s at the National Archives (but hasn’t been digitised) and as I live in Cumbria, getting to the NA is a time-consuming, and fairly expensive, expedition. So, I was just wondering if - by any chance - any forum members have acquired a copy and - if so - would you be willing to share? All I can offer, really, is my ever lasting respect, though I’ll be available to return the favour if I can.

    Wow, thanks - certainly looks that way. The info there looks like the supporting data (Annexes/Appendices, perhaps?) It’s helpful, but I was looking for the main text (and their conclusions) - just in case anyone else reads this!
    But, thank you, sincerely. Very useful.

    Thanks very much - funnily enough, I was aware of that site (it’s really useful) but never thought to look for information on losses. Great stuff!
    PS if the author has a copy and is willing to share it, that would be great - but I appreciate he/she might be loathe to do so. Appreciate the offer.
