2348045 Signalman Hyman Max Redman, Royal Corps of Signals. This photograph was taken in India. Hyman Redman was born on the 15th June 1912 at Bethnal Green in London's east end. His parents, Charles and Millie Redman were Polish, Jewish émigrés. Prior to the war Hyman worked as a warehouseman. He enlisted at Huddersfield on 25th July 1940 for the duration.
