Hi bernard85 Translation for you: You have an appointment with history. St Marcel, in the Land of Lanvaux (a region of Brittany) sheltered the largest Breton resistance army (maquis), where on the 6th June 1944 took place a memorable battle in the history of Brittany and France. Just before the Allies landed in Normandy, paratroopers of the Free French SAS (and SOE agents) parachuted into Brittany. During the following days they gathered together some 2,500 Breton resistance fighters. Built on the site of the battle, in the wooded park, the Breton resistance museum of St Marcel perpetuates the memory of this 'Army of the shade', that have refused the shackles of Nazi occupation. At this historical museum, unique in Brittany, you will make discoveries in the 1500m2 permanent exhibition, the life and involvement of Bretons during WW2. It is there also that the former paratroopers of the Free French SAS have decided to have their National exhibition since 1994. With the purpose of playing an educational role the museum has benefited "dynamic museumology" of great importance and which is in fact an execution of it's very first plan (idea) and is original in it's spirit of presentation and comprehension. The many exhibitions etc presented in the 6 rooms are certainly unique in France and are supplemented by numerous audio visual ones and explanatory models.

Bernard85, I have also found this thread on the forum specifically for Andre Hue: http://ww2talk.com/forums/topic/13796-andre-hue/ In the last post by myself is the official information of his parachuting into St Marcel TD
