A veteran of the Guards Armoured Division asked me to find out which Canadian Bridging Section helped him out during the last couple weeks of the war. From what I could get from Lt. Cantlay was that it was a Bailey Platoon that had one of its trucks taken out by a mine. This platoon must have been with either No. 85 or No. 86 Bridge Company, RCASC. Anyone an expert on these units?
