    On balance I would agree with you chances are they are Kershaws, purely objective ( no pun intended) but they "look" heavier than the lighter d.glas and look slightly larger.
    The button flap was not always present on sets but as you say they are a very German as are the rainguards in leather or bakalite form.

    An interesting question in that the German navy didn't as a rule have d.glas issued to them , they were the only service to have coated lens on their binoculars which held their own naval acceptance stamps / markings. More than likely it is a trophied set.
    A very good link to WA, some really fine work making the displays look life like.
