Spamming of Members Profiles

    The members who spammed have been banned.
    That doesnt stop them rejoining under a new name.
    There are several thousand spam VMs to delete .
    Paul, Gage & my Admin powers arent as strong von Poop's .
    I'm very sorry but us 3 can't do what we'd like to resolve the situation.
    I'd like to apologise to all members who have been spammed.
    It's totally frustrating for us.
    We feel like King Cnut.

    how does one delete the message?

    You should be able to tick the box in the top right of message then go to another box at bottom left & select Delete Message.

    Who is the spammer?

    Are you deleting this spam one by one? That is a big job!

    Is it not easier to send everybody a message and ask them to delete the message themselfs?

    Spamming is not the right way to carry out a message, but what dammage can this do?

    if there are links they might not necessarily be just to some harmless advertising

    clicking on links is not a good idea anyway as the mods have said, but it can also encourage spammers' efforts.
