If you do not have them let me have a PM with your postal address and I will send copies of the war diaries for 13 RMT and 278 Coys for the period up to invasion of Greece. Unfortunately I have nothing covering the Coys involvement on Greece. Also I am in touch with relatives of 2 other members of the Coy who were involved on Greece, If you wish to include your email in the PM I can put you in touch should you so wish.

Hi, my grand father was a POW in Oflag 79 (nr Brunswick Germany). I have a medal of his that I believe is from 13 RMT. How can I find more information on him during the war? Frederick Lawson Elsworth born 1903 Bridlington

Hello and welcome to the forum. The first thing to do is apply for his service records

Hi Edo, welcome. Once you have the service record and confirm your grandfather was with the 13 RMT Coy either come back here or drop me a PM and I can let you have the war diaries covering 13 RMT.

On the Medal, which one is it and what makes you think it is from 13 RMT.

    Cheers Brian.
