Occasionally we get a run of these and then they disappear.

Thought this pic was a killer! Female sparrow hawk downed the pigeon on which it is perched. A bit gory by the time she had finished.

This fine chap came visiting our back door step in the snow a couple of days ago, looking very fit.

Had one going after a starling in the garden years ago, chased it into a large shrub we had. The starling got away, incredibly. Magnificent sight though, the Sparrow Hawk, felt so lucky to see it so close up, sat on our fence for a while.

Very angry raccoon that was eating my friend's cat food

He caught their cat in it the first night, who was even madder about it than the raccoon

Yeah, yeah these weren't taken in my garden...just going through my photos from my recent trip to Kenya. One of each big cat.

I took all these in a local Churchyard, last year, while visiting a B-17 Crew Memorial within this Church. This Robin seemed to almost be 'Posing' for me, listening to the 'Click' of the camera, as it hopped-about on-top of the gravestone. The penultimate photograph shows this perfectly, tilting His / Her head in accordance.
