The previous chap was a bit dowdy and reminiscent of a 1940s cammo'd Me 109, so now something a bit brighter. A Splendid Fairywren in his best courting plumage.
Another show off bird, a West Australian Robin. More related to fly-catchers rather than the traditional UK variety.
West Australian Red-capped Parrot . This was literally in my backyard, he was watching his partner check out a nesting hole.
Wagtail just now, my joint favourite bird along with the robin, and the first yellow variety I’ve ever seen. Pops in for a drink from the tank to our pond but I’ve never been able to snap it before.
