    Hello all, I trecently visited this wonderful (free) museum in Ashton-Under-Lyne which tells the story of the various Manchester Regiments.

    The medal room is particularly impressive so I thought that I would share some im,ages of the WW2 related medal groups:-

    Anything on this man.... looks like he served a considerable number of years!.

    This man was decorated to a high level in WW1 But it looks like he served throughout WW2 as well.
