    This may be of interest to some in the general Oxfordshire area...

    (They are based in Woodcote Village Hall RG8 0QY (near Wallingford) in South Oxfordshire.)

    Their talks will be "given by writers, academics, former military personnel, and experts and will cover a wide variety of topics and events – hopefully an interesting cocktail to encourage you to join" them.

    Nb... I took a glance at this again recently and saw the following note:

    "Due to an overwhelming level of interest, the talk on Wednesday 16th October by John Buckley on Arnhem has SOLD OUT and we shall not be taking any more reservations for this event. A very limited number of seats are still available for walk-in attendees on the night. We will do our best to find places if there are ‘no-shows’, but we can give no guarantee of entry."
