Was then hit by another gun firing from the right flank. Position of Hit: a) penetration 85 mm. diameter through centre of right hand side wall of the turret; b ) 98 mm. diameter through turret wall below and behind a), just above the turret ring. Course & Effect of Projectiles: Shot a) hit and damaged the main gun behind the rear end of the Besa. Shot b ) went through the turret ring and floor of the rear turret bulge and bounced up and hit the roof behind the A.R.V.C. Fire confined to the turret. Remarks: Tank seen.
