uniform identity

    hello i am trying to identify family photos - i have been told about this sight from the great war forum who tell me these are from ww2 - so i would be grateful if you could identify regiments please - thank you - denise

    Denise, I can't make those thumbnails enlarge and just can't see any detail. WW2 battledress on its own makes ID difficult anyway.

    The fact that an 'O/R' ('Other Ranks') is wearing a collar and tie would date the first two photos as 1945 onwards, at which time they were alllowed to tailor battledress collars and wear ties for walking out.
