    I'm on a three-day trip in Gangwon-do, South Korea's north-eastern and most mountainous province. The scenery is stunning and the weather like summer, but I'll spare you my snapshots.

    I've just had a coffee at 38 Coffee, located at a rest stop almost precisely on the 38th Parallel, the former border between North and South Korea.

    The river shots are facing north.
