Thanks very much for posting that Drew, not everyone's cup of tea but small unit organisation is very much my interest! The change to the Rifle Platoon organisation appears to have been hurried through due to experience in Poland, where the 13-man gruppe proved pretty unwieldy (note the report says it was 14-men).
The description matches very closely with what was authorised for German organisation in February 1941, the tables this report was based on for early 1940 having been lost/destroyed. They don't have anything for the Motorised Schuzten by any chance do they, as the Company tables for them in 1940 are also kaput?
Your welcome and glad it was of interest. So far that is all I have come across. Obviously if I do find anymore, I'll post it up for you.
