    Hi all,

I'm working may way through a service record for a WWII 2nd Bn Lancashire Fusilier, another Great Uncle of mine (I do have a lot!) I will scan and post at least one page over the weekend that I will need a little guidance with. But to get me started, the abbreviation MDS appears several times, no number associated with it, though supported by Admitted To or Discharged From. So this sounds like a medical facility but what type?

    Military Dental Service?
    Mobile Delousing Station???

i have no idea but am prepared to kick myself when told what it is. I have searched the forum and the net, but can't find it. Does anyone have any ideas

    Thanks for your help,

    Regards, Steve

Steve could possibly be part of the medical set up, on option would be Mobile Dressing Station. Brian
