War was inevitable after the 1919 Treaty of Versailles impoverished, disarmed and stripped the Germans from their territories.

Hitler managed to create a great German nation with a national pride. But his expansionist, political and foreign policy aims took a bad turn in 1939.
Hitler also had a hatred for Communists, criminals, Slavs, as well as the physically and mentally challanged. Before he started on the Jews, he had perfected his genocide on his own people.

Hitlers irrational hatred for the Jews remained with him to the last. On April 29 1945, when he dictated his last will and political statement, he referred to,

"....It is untrue that I, or anyone else in Germany, wanted the war in 1939. It was desired and instigated solely by those international statesmen who were either of Jewish decent or worked for Jewish interests.......Jewery, which is the real criminal of this murderous struggle...

Having read a WW1 poetry anthology a couple of years back, one of the poets actually commented that "We have fought the fathers, now we must fight the sons".
Many people knew it was coming, as the problems caused by Versailles were enough to relight the blue touch paper. Hitler was merely the suppurating boil at the top of the whole damn mess. If it hadn't been him it would have been someone else.

This is a question, which is more suited to the Holocaust forum rather than this one.

However, in saying that, what you have said resembles statements said by The far right in germany since the middle 19th century.

As for why Hitler hated the jews, there are many theories on why but no real reason has been given. Even Hitler changed his mind on why he hated them. in mein Kampf, he mentioned that it was in Vienna that he discovered the menace of the jews, but eye-witness testimoney of the time says that in fact he did quite well because of his dealings with jews.

Only through the distorted prism of Hitler and other anti-Semites, who saw then and see now Jews as "types," not people. They assume that all Jews are the stereotypical caftan-wearing black-hatted, bearded, grubby, whining, secretive collection of omnipotent pawnbrokers, bankers, and Bolsheviks, all in service to Satan, Stalin, and gold.

Once you start with that view of the Jews, you're ready to attribute all manner of evil and power to them.

Sometimes I wish Jews had that much power. It would make my life a lot easier. Instead of being in debt and living in poverty in Newark, I'd live in a gigantic mansion in New Zealand, with a second one in San Francisco, a third in New York, a fourth in London, and be a part-owner of the New York Yankees.

If it wasnt Hitler it would have been someone else. The Jewish Race has been loathed and persecuted throughout Europe since the Middle Ages when moneylenders made money (nothing wrong with this by the way) fropm Christian knights who wanted to fund crusades to the Holy Land. They have endured Progroms, Rascism, and even Genocide. Even writers such as Shakespeare and Dickens protrayed Jews as villains (Shylock in Merchant of Venice and Fagin in Oliver Twist). All I can say is that they deserve to be left in peace after all thats been thrown at them and they are still around.

The Bible doesn't help matters, does it? In it the Jews are asked if they are willing to take the punishment for having Jesus crucified, and they said yes they were. Hence several thousand years of punishment with completely inbred wassaks holding it up as an excuse to commit genocide and wipe out whole communities.
I'm just thankful the historians are now finding the lost books from the bible and reading them, now maybe we'll get the other side of the story.

Hitler saw the defeat of Germany in the WW1 more a stab in the back by the German Government than a victory by the Allies. He saw profiteering by Jewish bankers and industrialist getting fat while the ordinary German soldiers and people were starving. Living through the Weimar Republic only hardened his views against Jews and other 'unter Mensch' who had betrayed Germany in WW1.
Anyway I have read somewhere Hitler dislike the Jews because he caught clap from a Jewish French whore! Tut Tut syphillis and it wasn't treated properly? Could have been a rumour put about by Churchill, nuf said.

I don't think there was WW2 because of the Jews. One can't blame WW2 on the Jews as well as everything else.

I hate to go off topic again.....but, that reminds me.... a work mate of mine many years ago told me about the foreman who went about with a sour look all the time. 'It was his injury he received on D-day' my mate said. I thought he was is great pain all the time. 'He got ashore OK but was shot in the balls' 'That must have hurt' I said. 'The thing that he is most upset about is he didn't get a pension for his wounds, they said he could function as well with only one ball!'

If you read Mein Kampf, (for what it is worth), he describes his hate origin.

He claims his hate comes from his stay in Vienna. He said he never hated Jews before moving to Austria. Whether that’s true or not one can only speculate.

Hitler was a German purist. He believed in German purity and virtue (which strangely enough did not include problems with killing women and children, torture and enslavement). Since Austria was a part of the first Reich under Kiser Barbarrosa, the first German "Caesar” head of the first German Reich, who also was coronated at Nuremberg (circa 1300s?), he believed Austria it to be of pure Teutonic origin. That Germanic/Teutonic Knight history had a strong romance to him and he believed it perpetuated and extended to his current day. After losing WWI of which he fought for such idealistic reasons, he was disillusioned and looking for answers to what has happened to the great Germanic empire.

While in Vienna, he saw some things that he believed were perverse and where against the governmental order. He was astonished by it and went and gathered all the pamphlets he could of the groups that were perverting the "pure" German society and hinting at insurrectional to the Germanic government style that Austria had at the time. He went on a search to find out who was behind it and he claimed that all the names on the materials he gathered were Jewish names. So he got this idea that they were perverting the "pure" German empire.

I don't know if you can believe his writings if they were the real reasons or just some rhetoric on a hate that was actually rooted somewhere else. It certainly is consistent with his behavior for what that is worth.

Personally I don't believe the story about the whore. I don't think that fits his MO. I don't think he was gay but I didn't get the idea that he was intimate with Eva Braun either. He seems to me to be more asexual than anything else. I do buy that he was a purist to the extreme. He may have very well believed what he wrote.

I don't think true hate is idealism in and of itself. Hate is just a symptom of idealism being taken to extremes. It is seemingly always motivated by fear. Racism, in general, stems from the fear of someone (not just anti-Semitism) that threaten ones idealistic values, be it lifestyle or otherwise. And hate is inspired by your desire to combat your fears, “if I just get rid of these guys all my fears will go away”. In this I believe that he really believed that the Jews threatened to ruin this pure Teutonic existence dating back to the first century (maybe about the time of the Crusades possibly?).

I think that’s where he lit the fuse. In Landsberg this belief festered and was nurtured by the outsiders in the Nazi party and he was convinced (both by himself and others) that he was to be a successor in this noble line and proceeded to gain absolute power of Germany and write himself into history. With this accomplished, what do you think he would view as the biggest threat to his idealistic existence, and do you remember what I said people think of their greatest fears? We all know Lord Ancton’s quip about absolute power, but if you start out corrupt (idealistic) you have already “greased the skids”. He had his crazy buddy Himmler take care of the fear for him. You know, I always saw Himmler, as a bit of a coward. He seems like the kind of guy you wouldn’t mind beating the living dog crap out of. He just looks like a weasel to me. But, I digress.

Do I think that was his hang-up. You can say he is crazy but then again, what is crazy? By that you don’t mean rubber room crazy babbling like a look, you really mean an extreme idealist. I don’t think he is really that rare. It seems to me like intelligent idealists rise all the time especially in economically backward conditions like Germany was in the time Hitler rose. This is why I hate socialism so bad because it removes the strength from people to prevent idealists from rising and exploiting power.

But, as far as idealism goes, you see it everywhere. You see it in the KKK, you see it in gangs, you see it in Muslims, you saw it heavy in Christianity in the dark ages, and there are even histories of Jews who were extremist too. I don’t think one specific group or person or party has a unique claim on it. Right now there are places in the world if an American (and any westerner as well) where they would be in grave danger by idealists. I don’t excuse any of them. I do recognize it is a tendency of human beings to have an odd one or two that gets off on some social tangent and never comes back. I don’t believe you chase things. You deal with causes not symptoms. And I think this is the failing in human history to prevent the rise of extremists.

I read a version which says it was a whore in Vienna.

Common myth. Apparently he had normal testicles and did not suffer from any venereal diseases. He was a hypochondriac, worried constantly about his potency and his voice, and the July 20, 1944, bomb blast damaged his nervous system and eardrums. He seems to have been suffering from Parkinson's in the last days of his life.

I hate to be serious but i said that i had read about it, it does not mean that i actually believe it.

The book that i am reading at the moment, its proped up against by Diddybox so that I can read bits whilst I am on the PC, goes into his known medical and mental health in detail.

Also, veneral diseases in those days were untreatable and so the effects would have been clearly seen on Hilter had he been infected.

Morse, my cute little uniformed vampire, what sane person would invade several countries, try to wipe out an entire population merely because he didn't like them, and prance around in a ridiculous uniform spouting about the Master race being blonde hair blue eyed when he was short, dumpy, brown hair and brown eyed? Sounds perfectly sane to me.
Of course, solely my opinion and not the opinion of most people.
Don't suppose you have a leather duster coat lying around?;)
