239FEBA4-925D-4367-B2FD-387D01E8AC96.jpeg I bought a picture recently which came with no information. I’m trying to identifying the unit and some men, and believe this Group Captain is my best chance at doing so.
Here is what I know about him so far (or believe to be true)
He is a Member of the Bath, has a CBE/MBE or OBE, the Queens South Africa medal with 4 clasps and a WW1 trio with 1914 clasp and MID oak leaf.
I’m a bit stumped so far, so would appreciate any help! 293AA230-1069-4C3D-8697-4E95B0FF4D09.jpeg

Possibly also wearing a Permanent Forces of the Empire Beyond the Seas medal 2nd from last?

Not sure it’s an RAF Squadron, not many “wings” and most of the cap badges other than the front row don’t look like RAF. Have you had the back off the frame to see if anything is written on it?

Here’s a close up to show the badges.
