Has anyone got high resolution images of these by any chance ?

They feature 3Bn WG and 10Bn Rifle Brigade.

These thumbnails are all courtesy of the IWM.

    Hope someone can help,

    Thank you

Why not ask the IWM themselves ?

Thank you Owen, I have already. As they have not been scanned in high resolution the cost is prohibitive (£50 per image for scanning alone). I was hoping that perhaps others may have them from regimental archives etc.

I suspect they’re attempting to recoup losses suffered during covid. It soon adds up as the scanning is addition to the image supply cost with licensing fees on top of that too.

I’d have no qualms paying a fair price, but nearly £900 is a lot of money.

    Sincerely hope someone can help

I'll have you know they've been ripping us off long before COVID.

And here's me thinking I had a new euphemism to play with. (Besides the one in the prior sentence.)

A couple or years ago I purchased two images at the following rates:

    Digitisation fee: £30
For an A3 digital file: £20
VAT @ 20% (not charged on overseas orders): £10
    Total: £60 per image.

If the digitisation (scanning and removing blemishes) has gone up by £20, it's outrageous.

Yep. A Museum that's supposed to be spreading the Word but does it's best to stop spreading the Word. Been like it for years. Sad....very sad.

  12. Requesting an analog print on photo paper from the original negative (not a print from a scan) might be cheaper, depending on the size of the print. One may then scan at will, and the result will probably be better than an IWM scan...

I'm not sure they still offer physical prints.
