I am convinced that I saw two ghosts while staying at an old inn in Newport, Rhode Island. Two friends with me saw the same thing. We were making tea on a second floor landing when we all spotted a couple walking up the stairs to the third floor. They were dressed in out-of-date clothing. We didn't think much of it until the morning when we tried to go up the third floor staircase and discovered it was a dead-end with any passage up nailed with wooden boards. A check of the guest register revealed that our three couples were the only ones staying there. When we confronted the innkeeper, she was very evasive.
I've just stumbled across this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0993336...&asin=0993336043&revisionId=&format=4&depth=1 I'd so much like it to be good, but the odds seem against it. Has anybody here had a look?
not read it all these ghosts stories are a load of old bollards how people get away with this is truely amazing the ghost spitfire showing the squadron through the bad storm the ghost soldier who warns the troop of the enemy why is it ghosts always appear at night is there somebody in the room names begins with R oh oh well not me but my great uncle was called Richard so you must have made contact nonsense Taxi
"There's nothing at night which wasn't there in the day". Or "there's nothing in the dark that wasn't there when the light was on" Must admit that doesn't sound reassuring at all.
