    Good morning guys!

I'm trying to put together some detail regarding this guy.

5378433 L/Cpl Harry Owen, 1st Btn Ox & Bucks LI
    KIA 13 August 1944
    Casualty

He appears on Holsworthy (Nth Devon) War Memorial, but is not within the alphabetical list but has been added at the bottom, presumably at a later date. I'm having trouble pin pointing who he is (though am pretty certain he wasn't originally from the town.

    Here's what I do know -

Son of Edward Ernest and Mary Ann Owen
    Born c.1908
Husband of Alice Mary Owen (nee King) of Holsworthy
Married in Holsworthy Reg Dist in Sept Qtr 1943

I'm having difficulty finding where he came from originally or any family details. He should appear on the 1911 census at least, as well as the 1939 Register (where I've been able to identify his wife, working at WInsford Hospital, Halwill). I'm just drawing a blank on this guy and would really appreciate some help.

Hoping someone might be able to come up with something!

EDIT - Have now confirmed birth in Warwickshire - Can anyone add anymore?

    Thanks guys!

Update - looks like he was born Collycroft, Bedworth and, in 1911, was residing in Bulkington, Nuneaton with his brother, mother and step father (Surname Southorn). That's a start.....grateful for anything anyone can add!
