Great stuff as ever Kyle - bit cheeky but do you have larger scans of the two postcards with African POW's on - particularly the titles which are partially cut off in these versions? Very interested in those...
Hello Brian, Sorry they were the only ones I had but I`ll keep an eye out for more if you have an interest in the subject?
Three from a Le Paradis album?
Interesting Mr Jinks, photo's 3 and 10 feature Ramsgate in the background. Thanks for posting
I do indeed Kyle and thank you very much - always interested.
I think that we have two Free Frenchmen and a Home Guard, with one of the eight Colt machine guns with which the Free French were supplied in December 1940.
I think the French aircraft at the top of post #461 is a Bloch 152 but can anyone tell me whether there is any significance to the swastikas being reversed?
Kyle -these are fascinating - thanks for posting. If you come across any more photos of the Indian soldiers with the BEF, I'd be most interested to see them, especially any from Dunkirk itself
Few more from my old photobucket account

Pictures 2 and 15 show the coast and harbour at RAMSGATE, Kent.
Missed out on a couple of Hurricane/pilot pics just now on eBay if it was one of you good people? I say missed out. I was a hundred quid under.
This is place du Kursaal in Malo-les-bains. The two houses on the right can be seen on the left of the following photo. The cranes are from Chantier de France shipyard.
