Does anyone know any good websites to purchase an M1 garand from? Just a replica but has to be metal and wood with moving parts. I've looked all over but can only find rubber ones or replicas which may aswell cost £1,000,000 for the price they're charging.

    Anyone?

Where do you live? If in the U.S., you can buy M1s from the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program), although these are real rifles, not models.

Are you in Britain mate? (profile says US but that seems to be the default) A good de-ac Garand should cost £180-400 with at least the cocking/firing action still moveable.
Shows like Beltring have loads for sale and at the end of this month (the 28th) is one of the UK's biggest Militaria markets 'Militaria 2007' at the Stoneleigh park Exhibition centre near Coventry. You'll also find repros there but I'd always want a real one. The reenactors are also one of the best sources of info on getting the guns, though many groups insist on real licenced rifles once you've been in a while.

On the web, Ryton Arms are an excellent and friendly company, if they haven't got one they'll know who has but they too are generally cheaper at the fairs & shows.
I'd also recommend Milweb, they'll have someone advertising who can sort you out.
    Good luck,
    Adam.

Looks good but for £1,500 it's a bit out of my price range. I'm thinking of going to that exhibition near coventry. Sounds like you could get some good stuff from there.
