On the run up to D Day I would like to raise some cash for veterans charities and donate to them on behalf of all the members at wwiiforum. To do this I am not going to ask for you to donate cash but I would like to place a google adsense banner on the home page. All you have to do is click on the ads and let the site load then close it, this then sends cash from anything between £0.04 to £0.10 for every ad clicked. The minimum you need to earn is £100 before Google will send you a cheque so I would suggest that would be our minimum target. If anyone objects let me know otherwise I will set something up. Closer to the time I will take suggestions on where the money should go.
Hi, I have just added a banner to the top of the site as advised to raise some cash for ww2 charities. All you have to do is click on the banner and once the page loads close it, its easy so go on please help out. I will post here on a regular basis to let you know how much we have raised so far.
So far so good, and thanks to those clicking on the banners. Our adsense account has $3.35 (£1.87) in it after just a few hours. Keep up the good work for thos charities.
I will update this once every evening to let you know how the account is coming along. Its currently at $4.45 (£2.47) Does not sound much but for less than 24 hours and all it takes is to click a banner I think its quite good. can I ask for 2 volunteers who have been registered on the site for at least 4 weeks to be given the adsense account details and log in every know and then to verify the amounts being collected. Just so that nobody thinks I am keeping any of the funds Please let me know if you would be willing to help
Just to add that Gerry Chester (article competition winner) has very kindly asked that the £15 he won be added to the veterans charities that we are raising money for. Thank you bery much to Gerry, a very kind gesture and it most certainly will be added to the running total. Thank you Lee
