There are 3 known Camp 5’s:

    (1) In 1940 Camp 5 was at Duff House. The camp closed in 1940 after an attack by a Heinkel 111 in July which killed 6 POW and 2 British soldiers, and injured many others.

(+) There is a letter sheet dated 3.11.1941 with the address ‘Camp 5’.

    (2) An ICRC report about Camp 179 The Hayes February 1945, stated; "Camp 179 when last visited was No.5, and, before that, No.13…..” The War Diary for The Hayes shows that it was still Camp 13 on 31 December 1941. So, it became Camp 5 sometime between 1942 and 1945.

    (3) In 1945 Camp 5 became Monrush N.I.

So where was Camp 5 in (++) November 1941?

    Happy Christmas!
