We've noticed a few members of late are joining just so they can advertise their wares, be it movies online, ps3 games and so on.
They usually have a link in their signature.
Can members keep an eye out for these & please report them to us so we can delete the posts & ban the spammers.
I know some members are already doing this, THANK YOU.
The more of you that can do it the better.
you can report a post by clicking the warning trianle on the left hand side of a post.

    I'll add to this though.
If you're an established member with something to flog; written a book, some militaria, research business, whatever - don't worry about it and flog what you like. No problem at all with a bit of mild plugging. There's even a 'For sale & for trade' section - And if you've written a book or are involved in a documentary; get it mentioned in the Books/TV area.
Same goes for new chaps selling something vaguely related to WW2 or military history. A post or two won't inconvenience anyone, but rambling on about it's not playing the game.

The line's drawn roughly on posts that have links to the usual unrelated cack one sees being sold on the Internet.
If there's a sig that contains property services, iPods, Nigerian Oil deals, spiky films, conspiracy theories, pubbed up cars etc. etc. etc. then those are the ones to grass up if we don't spot 'em.
(does anyone ever actually fall for these?)

I am Kallel Amdallah a Treasurer (To the president of Tunisia), and a Sole Proprietor of Mega Tunisia.
I have worked for some chambers worldwide especially in the Canada that I have millions of database I can access. But limited to 2-profile a week due to my gratuity and hardened work, the results of my search made me chose you which I think you will be suited to handle this business according to your background.
I am due to pay $1.8M to a private company in United Arab Emirates(Dubai) for a deposit of $15,000,000 in a trunk boxes since 2008.

I didn't presented the money as money, but a boxes to be saved. due to the value and the
security for the packages mades the fees to increased to that extent.

This huge amount was gotting from the elections process as a bribe
during the election, because I'm one of the famous loyalty to the
    president in the country (Tunisia)

I saved this money because I must lay low for 2-3 years before
    to start spending the money.

Now I need this money but the fees must be paid before I can
    have the boxes.

I will be happy If you can help me between 500,000-1M to clear the funds.

    1) There would be a legal attorney
    arbitrary agreement letter that will state clearly that;
The money in the boxes should be shared 15-40% (Depends on how much you can raise) for you and 60-85% for me in signatory to
    me and you.

    2) After proceeded with the copy of the letter to be save for reference
You will prepare for a traveling to meet me in dubai with the money you can raise.

    3) We will both go together to the private company to take the money in my boxes and thereafter we will share the proceeds.
Remember, They will not release the boxes without paying the debt.

The arbitrary letter will be made immediately you send me your:-

    Full name:-
    Telephone number:-
    How much:-
    Agreed to take(%):-

So I can prepare and email to you a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for you to sign and return back to me.

I will exhort you to not only treat this transaction with the gravity it deserves, but also with urgency.

May I reiterate that the importance of the confidentiality and speed in this transaction cannot be over emphasized.

Hence in bolstering of confidentiality you are advised against discussing with anyone or your bank the expectation of the funds until I advise you otherwise.

Kindly reply your information for more information.

    Please treat as urgent.
    Thank you and God bless.

Apart from spending an inordinate amount of time posting on this site I also, for my sins, manage a few Blogs.

Each Blog has an excellent facility that guarantees that anytime someone tries to post a comment on one of these Blogs I get an e-mail warning me of the fact and quoting what the poster has said.

This morning some one had posted words to the effect that the Blog was super, the images were fantastic and that the concept of the Blog was exemplary.

Enough to flatter the cotton socks off me except that the links under the signature led to a Viagra selling website.

I was offered the choice on my Blog to DELETE, MARK AS SPAM or PUBLISH.

Guess which choice I took ?

In closing I can only guess at the type of junk that gets sent to ww2talk and all I can say to the Mods is good luck in your efforts to keep this site clear !
