I'm hoping to glean imformation about the 1st West Yorkshires in Burma - 17th Indian Infantry Division, The Black Cats before they became the Black Cats.

My Uncle served with the Yorkies in Burma was Captured and died in a Japanese P.O.W. camp.

    Reported as Missing 19/04/1942

Ok that will do for now, off to scour the boards now for any info I can find.
