Thanks for sharing that Martin; the story is well told in the excellent Irish Guards history for WW2 and I recently read a French report of the memorial that now commemorates this event. It's quite an amazing story, really! I don't think I would have fancied ramming a King Tiger with anything, let alone a Sherman!
