I am at present working on a Roll of Honour and can not find any info on two of the men.
Imagine my joy at meeting tonight a couple of veterans one of whom told me
' Allan Wilson, we knew him as Beery Wilson, my cousin was in the same Battalion and saw him killed ' Aparrently he had attended an O group and was on his way back to his unit when incoming mortar fire killed him. I have the unit, date - everything!!

The other old soldier was at school with the other man and had details at his home which will enable me to find him among the 35 men on CWGC who fit.

I am over the moon. What an evening. A malt is called for I think.
    Here's to them.

I did! Tullibardine 15 year old. The reason I couldn't locate him on CWGC was - he was 10th Gurkhas, he was from Crieff, CWGC give him as Indian.
Always knew there were Indians in them Perthshire hills. :D
