Post Market Garden plans?

    Hello everyone,

Is there any plans for how Field Marshal Montgomery was going to carry out the post-Market Garden operations. I understand the Guards Armoured Division was to bypass Apeldoorn and advance towards Nunspeet on the Zuider Zee. The 43rd Division was to capture Apeldoorn and secure bridgeheads at Deventer and Zutphen whilst the 50th Division was to secure a crossing at Doesburg. I have also heard that the 82nd and 101st Airborne Division would of been pushed into the Arnhem bridgehead to reinforce XXX Corps, aswell as the landing of the 52nd Division at Deelen.
But what were the plans after this phase? And how was Montgomery going to carry them out? Was VIII Corps, on the right of XXX Corps going to cross the Maas/Meuse River and push on to Goch and Kleve? Would another, smaller, airborne operation be feasible with the 6th Airborne Division waiting in the UK, recovering from the Normandy campaign.

Thanks in advance for any information!

    Ben
