i hope you do not mind me posting this subject here within this forum area as it seemed as close to correct as any.

As this is an excellent forum site on every aspect of WW2, from Veterans here to it seems college students, and with so many U.S. WW2 Veteran's and aliies Veteran's passing each day, we have a tremendous amount in Veteran's Hospital's, Nursing Homes etc, that if possible during this National Salute week that if you have the time, to follow up on this.

I am sorry to those outside the U.S. but my link below is only to locate a VA Hospital locally here in the U.S.

Each year the week of February 14 is an opportunity to say thank you to a special group of men and women, more than 98,000 veterans of the U.S. armed services who are cared for every day in Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers, outpatient clinics, domiciliaries, and nursing homes

Contact your nearest VA Medical Center by clicking on the below link

and ask for Voluntary Service to discover the wonderful things you, your group or organization can do to salute America's Heroes

Let us remember them with a HUGE THANK YOU..for they are the greatest generation of our time.
