Luftwaffe operations from Norway June 1941

  1. I'm researching my dad's war experiences. He was a gunner on a merchant ship in a convoy from Methil on the east coast to Loch Ewe on the north west coast. According his shipmate's diary they were bombed off the east coast of Scotland on the 2nd or 3rd June 1941 and again while they were anchored in Loch Ewe on the 6th or 7th June. Can anyone advise me how I could find out more about actual units that bombed his convoy.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
