It has come to my attention that the Leicestershire and Lincolnshire Regiments may have provided the chaps that formed the Scout Sections in Lincolnshire for the training of the Auxiliary Units (Churchill's Secret Army) I wondered if any one had come across anything in print to confirm this. They would of provided at least 12 men including a Lt, Sgt and Cpl. The Lincolnshire Section Officers name was Lt Eric Dring who was amongst other things SOE along with Sgt Johnson and Cpl Carver. This is a shot in the dark that some one may have come across any information or the names. Any info you have would be appreciated, please email me.

    regards
