Does anybody provide a service for obtaining PoW questionnaires from Kew? I'm trying to put together my grandfathers movements during the war for my mother but its difficult living in Dubai.
There are a couple of members who do. I know Lee used to copy them- send him a message http://ww2talk.com/index.php?members/psywar-org.2876/ Lesley **Edited: Wed 28/6- Lee has been in contact with Scott re POW questionnaire
Hi Drew, I can't be sure what year he was captured but he was originally in Campo Concentramento Prigionieri di Guerra P.G.82 in Italy before they pulled out and he was hidden in a village for some time before being recaptured and taken to XI-A Altengrabow, Saxony-Anhalt. I'd presume it was 43 or 44 when ended up in Germany.
Apologies Drew; continued.. I actually came to this site looking for you as I was given your name by a historian for the Durham Light Infantry named Jim in 2013 but I never got around to following this up.
Hi Scott No problem if you have already approached Lee, he'll look after you and hopefully buy me a Latte at Kew when we meet next at the archives. I'm guessing your relative was DLI then? Cheers Andy
Apologies All, Been having issues with email and not getting notifications. Thank you all so much for your offer of help, I am in touch with Lee. Regards, Scott

Hi Vitellino, I've already been reading your website, it's fascinating and will continue to read as I have time. Great job!
