Hello, Just saw that I have never introduced myself here. I thought I would do that now. I am Jan, just 18 years old and I am from the Netherlands. I live near the small village of Cuijk. During the war, this area was used as a resting place for the troops fighting near Groesbeek, Nijmegen and the Reichswald. I search with a metal detector. I also collect mainly Candian ww2 militaria. In particular items that have a story. If anyone is interested I could post some pictures in the near future. I am also looking for some info regarding names on some items. Have a nice evening, Jan
HI Jan Welcome I have friends in Valkenswaard Just post whatever you have and lets see if members can help you. Dont forget that there are sections entitled Media and Albums that you can use to post photos etc TD
Hoi Jan, Welkom!
Hello, thank you very much for the warm welcome! Tomorrow I will post some items from my small collection.
Jan, Welcome to the forum. We look forward to seeing your photos. Stolpi is our resident Dutch WW2 expert.
Hello, I saw your thread about the Canadian presence at Berg en Dal. I was searching there because of the US presence there. But, on the location marked on your I also found traces of the 'pepperpot' Lots and lots and lots of Vickers ammo boxes, and 2 large boxes for the 4.2 inch mortars.
