Over the last few days I've been working my way through the HQ 4 CIB war diaries on the Heritage Canadiana website. A bit tedious at times but there's a lot of good stuff in these reels. Loved the last entry in the diary dated Sept 21, 1945 below. Wonder when or if the actual Regimental War dairies for regiments in the 4 CIB: the Essex Scottish, RHLI and RRC will get microfilmed and promoted to the Heritage Canadiana site. If anyone knows or if there is a way to push for this it would be great to see this type of access so all can read them.

Sorry Randy - No joy, I only get a blank page when I try to open the downloaded document from the resources tab. I'm currently looking for 7th and 9th Cdn Inf Bdes War Diaries for March 1945. Don't know if they are uploaded Heritage files?
