    Apologies for resurrecting an old thread....

    But was Google searching for LV869 and came across this thread.

    My uncle was also a rear gunner on this aircraft but was also the last, all lost on 15/16.09.44 on a raid on Kiel.

    Welcome aboard, no harm in adding a post to an old thread - it happens regularly here when a Google search directs you to this amazing website. The opening post author has not logged in since 2015.

    Hi Annie,

    Not sure if you are still on here but I came across this whilst I was looking up my grandpa’s Halifax.
    He was Len Broadhurst - your grandfather’s pilot. I’ve looked through his log book and it mentions your grandfather and the rest of the crew!
