I am seeking information about Our father, Frank E Sach. Qualified Civil Engineer

He served in Northern Europe after D-Day as Lt. (Acting Cpt.).

He died when I was 9 years old in 1956 as a Major having attended camp each year post WW2. I very vaguely recall that he landed in France D+6 and, since he worked on the London Underground as a London Transport employee pre-WW2, worked on repairing the railways.

I posted some of his photos here: https://pin.it/4SsqBXW

    Welcome aboard.

We always recommend applying for their service record, it is the definitive account and is not found elsewhere. Some tips via PM in a moment.

Someone might recognise the damaged bridge son the link (it has happened before).

Nothing on this website for the name or readily online, including London Transport or Underground
