Battlefield 1942, with mods you still can't beat it in my opinion, Medal of Honour, Call of Duty (1 & 2).
I haven't played it for years and so it just came of the top of my head, for PC I will agree it was crap but for the Playstation (One) it is one of the best WW2 games around which is the context I was basing it in. Most of the time I play Battlefield 1942 WW2 mods and some IL-2...
yes, but it's unrealistic. What country would be able to put planes and veichiles on a battlefield at random? It is fun though
Call of Duty and Brothers in Arms are both awesome games. I used to be into Medal of Honor, but compared to the newer games, it doesn't have a leg to stand on.
I loved Call of Duty 1 and 2, really resparked my interest into WW2. The missions based on real events, had me searching for what really happened. What bits of playing stupid games have made you think? Brother in arms is great, makes you realise jusy how important each memeber of a squad is. Play the same bit again and again gettin wiped out each time. You get the option to get your missing squad member back and you do it first go. Just losing one mad is enough to really cut your options down. Its a good game. Kev
Company of Heroes, Faces of War, First Battalion Panzer Elite,Sniper Elite,Call of Duty (i used to have a clan on it) Medal of Honor (just for the music !)
