Belt buckle

    Hi ,can any body help. I have a Leicester regiment belt buckle but only half of a Leicester militia buckle can any one tell what the other half would have looked like thanks.

    Hi Roseway.
    That type of belt buckle would not be 2nd WW. I suggest you look at Victorian Army sites. As you know it is militia I imagine that you have the 'ring' portion. The centre is likely to be the same as the other. It should be in a white (silver colour) metal.

    Thanks wondered if it contained a tiger has the later larger version does ,do to the age it is now black.lol
