This is a new BBC campaign to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the end of the Great War in November.

The website is in it's early stages at present, and I suspect the URL might change, but you can read about what is planned here:

    Press release here:

    Latest news is:

BBC 1918-2008 Ninety Years of Remembrance

As part of the BBC campaign 1918-2008: Ninety Years of Remembrance, the BBC are looking for stories that can be used as case studies on-air, for a new texting service and to profile online to help paint a complete picture of what World War One meant for those who served in it.

If you'd like to share the stories of relatives who saw action in World War One, please send a short summary to remembrance@bbc.co.uk and the BBC team will get in contact with you.
