    Hi all of you..

I didn't know where to post this so i hope it's ok here..

I've not been here for a while as i've been writing up my dads war service records.

I have finished them now and i have to say, what a journey.... I've given them out to family and they are over the moon..

I would like to say a MASSIVE thankyou to all of you who have helped me over the last months. And thankyou to those of you who didn't know you had.. :p
I started out knowing very little about my dad, and even less about his war service. With all of your help, not only have you helped me find out about his service but you have made him almost alive..

Thankyou once again and carry on this fantastic work. Your information, personal experience, and knowledge is invaluable and my family and i are extremely grateful.

To the Veterans.. Thankyou with all my heart, because without you, we would be without..

    Cheers Guys n Gals x

It's great to know that your family appreciated your work and the fact that the history is now documented will live on through future generations.

    Splendid stuff.
And I do like it when people go out of their way to thank the chaps who helped 'em out properly, so thank you for that, Rachel.

That's great news, Rach. It's so good to get feedback on the journey members have made learning about loved ones.
PS Not thinking about Christmas yet.

Glad we were able to help in some way and that the family has reason to celebrate despite Villa losing badly to-day
    Cheers
