    Hi Scott

My father was born in 1920 and joined up at the start of the war. He was working on the Thames for Cory Tank for many years.

The Popski group will meet up on the 7th of November for a remembrance service just outside Westminster Abbey attended by a Royal, some guy called Harry. (Then we go for a meal and drink).

Unfortunately the guy who ran “friends of Popski” died so we seemed to have lost the website.

My sister has photos of PPN and their names I’d love to see your photos. I live in Scarborough my sister in Bexleyheath.

    Hi John,
I have been invited to the rememberence gatherings in the past, but I've had on going hip problems which had prevented me from travelling too far. I live in Hanworth, close to Heathrow Airport. I suspect you have already seen the photos from Evan Ivey's relatives which are fantastic. My uncle gave me some copies of the wartime photo's he had from my Grandad, but I haven't yet uncovered them after our house move ( a year ago!). I think I have them copied to my laptop at work, so if you send an e-mail to scott8rims@gmail.com, I will see if I can forward them on to you and your sister.
I hadn't heard about the death of the chap from the friends of Popski group. Hopefully someone will take over before too long.
Look forward to hearing from you.
    Regards
    Scott
