    Only in the ordinary way.

    No. As a member of the Escape Committee for 3 years, I was not allowed to attempt to escape.

    No

    6. COLLABORATION with enemy:

    No, but I have certain information regarding anonymous letters sent to the Germans regarding escape.
    Maj. MELSORS - Security Officer - made investigation and may have further information.

    7. WAR CRIMES
    If you have any information or evidence of bad treatment by the enemy to yourself or to others, or knowledge of any enemy violation of Geneva Convention you should ask for a copy of "Form Q" on which to make your statement.
    (NOTE: Form Q is a separate form inviting information on "War Crimes" and describes the kind of offences coning under this title.)

    The Geneva Convention was not recognised as binding by the Germans.

    I was a member of the escaping committee from February 1942 at VIB until release in April 1945. I was also security officer for the last 5 weeks before release at STEINBURG Holiday Camp.
