My grandad was with the 80th Assault Squadron RE on Juno as well and I've recently got their route up until 3rd Feb 1945. I've also got a list of names of everyone involved, let me know if you want that as well?

Welcome to the forum Juno1875! Thank you for posting the 80 Assault Squadron Route. What book does it come from? We would also be happy to see the list of names you mentioned. Michel
Welcome June 1875 As a grandson of someone who served in the 80 Assault Squadron I would love to see more of the book you have there please if you could. Kind regards Mike
Hi Mike & Michel, I believe that the book was given to my grandad in about 1950. Attached are all the names who served with the 80 Assault Squadron - hope these are help to you both. I'll also have the 'Roll of Honour' names and the 'Honours and Awards' list so I'll attach them in a separate post - although the names in these lists contain soldiers from other regiments/squadrons. I went to Normandy for the first time last month to honour my grandad and was blown away by everything I saw! If you guys have any material about 80 Assault Squadron then please send it on. Cheers Neil
Hi Neil Thank you very much for sharing these with us you won't believe how grateful I am and to especially see my granda listed and as a L/Cpl A Deacon is fantastic cheers.
