MASTER OF FORBES WOUNDED The Hon. Nigel Ivan Forbes, Master of Forbes, son of Lord and Lady Forbes, Castle Forbes, Aberdeenshire, has been badly wounded while serving with the Grenadier Guards in Flanders. In one heavy engagement during the retreat to Dunkirk, a trench mortar shell exploded near him and shattered his left leg above the knee. The Master of Forbes went from Harrow to Sandhurst before being gazetted to the Grenadier Guards. He came of age in February last year, when he paid a short visit for the celabrations among the tenantry. Lord Forbes served in the Grenadier Guards in the last war.
