WO 169/1202 50 Recce. Regt. 1941 Oct.- Dec. Thanks to Drew for photographing this War Diary October 1941 http://ww2talk.com/index.php?media/albums/50-recce-war-diary-october-1941.225/
Hello Paul, Is the title of this thread correct? The first few pages in message #1 look like 48th Recce, not 50th Recce! Best, Steve.
Thanks Paul - That's great. I look forward to reading these... Will there be any other 50 Recce WD's being posted; I don't know how many months they are available for given that 50 Recce were overrun in the Cauldren/Kensington battles in June 1942 and thereafter ceased to exist! Best, Steve.

March 1942 And when he got there the cupboard was bare! Paul, it looks like March 1942 didn't make it!! This is really 'big time' posting for moi. Thank you!!! Best, Steve.
CAB 106 This is not a War Diary but an eyewitness account of 50 Recce between 27th March and 6 June 1942 in Cyrenaica. Many thanks to Drew for finding this file. http://ww2talk.com/index.php?media/albums/cab-106-50-recce.231/ Cheers Paul
Can you guys actually read this stuff? I can't, even after clicking on the individual pages. Is there no zoom function? Or am I being dumb? David.
