    8. Have you any other matter of any kind you wish to bring to notice?

    Captain J.H. GOTLIEB, R.A.M.C. For the 3 weeks preceding May 3rd 1945 acted with extreme energy and initiative in dealing with the Germans for the benefit of prisoners of all nationalities at STALAG XI A ALTENGRABOW. He bullied & threatened with their lives to Stalag officials and greatly ameliorate the worst abuse, stopping a march from the camp, organising the evacuation of the ?Lager by establishing communication with the American Forces. He obtained food & clothing from the Germans, at a time when many were suffering from starvation by similar methods of threatening & bullying.
