If they are small round and yellow perhaps it's time to see the Doctor :P There must be some football on somewhere by the nature of this thread - anyone any idea where?? TD edited to add: Ahh I see now I thought it was a thread about coffee
Nevilles commentary was one of the worst i have ever had to listen i hope he doesn't do many more. The difference for me watching the England game was Pirlo he was just class and i don't think he broke sweat. Yes there was quite a few positives but i just wished we had played Rooney behind Sturridge, not on the left he was completely lost and Baines was overrun.
It was indeed relentlessly monotone and ... littered with the obvious and banal, more so than the norm. The upside was reading all the twitter comments. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-27858505 No one prepared to say anything about Rooney's missed chance at goal? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup/10900730/Wayne-Rooney-fails-to-produce-for-England-against-Italy-like-other-World-Cup-2014-stars.html I missed the preamble and start: so at one point during the first half I had to check if he was in fact on the pitch or on the bench. :P
I'm happy. :deflag[1]: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2014/article-2659382/Germany-celebrates-Chancellor-Angela-Merkel-Thomas-Muller-carves-Cristiano-Ronaldos-Portugal-fans-home-cheer-worlds-biggest-living-room.html
Hi D has it looks like it is just you and me :P , they looked strong once again even before Portugal went down to 10 they were in control.
Would seem so Michael. A great start. Without any real pressure it's hard to tell what their defence will be like. Not a complaint. Job was done in the first half, as you say.
Feeling sorry for Honduras, but good about Costa Rica, how do you spell "Six Times World Champion"?
Diane, Thought you would be. I thought Germany extremely played well in the first half and perhaps deliberately slowed down in the second half to conserve energy. Ronaldo was not happy! but that is Football. Regards Tom
Hehe, I wonder if he had words with his pal Pepe after. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2098957-twitter-reacts-to-pepes-red-card-during-germany-vs-portugal And I love it when Chiles gets annoyed by the Germans, well worth having to put up with him on the TV.
I wondered how long that wiki update would last, it's now been replaced by something less gushing/tongue in cheek. Not playing kickball does he...
